Two students in Mrs. Stewart's third grade classroom enthusiastically took on the challenge of creating a classroom newsletter.  Sam Jenkins and Aidan Kropiwnicki put their heads together and designed the layout of the letter along with seasonal graphics, headlines, and areas of interest.  The students acquired some new technology skills which they are now able to "teach" to their classmates.  Both students are now adept at scanning thanks to Mrs. Fowler and taking and importing photos which they learned when Mrs. Stewart put them in charge of recording their classroom history with a digital camera.  Their first edition included interviews of their classmates as well as of Mr. Imperati, their physical education teacher.  The new editors also showcased the art work and poetry of two other classmates and included a joke box.  The newsletter highlighted classroom happenings like our first "Dazzler Contest" and included many more humorous moments.  Since its publication, two students have designed a suggestion box in order to incorporate any new ideas generated by fellow students.  Sam and Aidan are well on their way to producing their second edition!
